Baptism

Baptism

God lead me to Him and the truth of His word, the Holy Bible, by showing me the
widespread satanic corruption around the world, through the occult symbols that are
used worldwide in media, logos and even on our dollar bills. He also showed me that
all the churches are infiltrated with Satan's false apostles and ministers.
So when I first came to Him for salvation I did not want to go to church.
So I baptized myself in my bathtub in the name of Jesus Christ and have been following
Jesus Christ ever since.

When you are baptized, you are first, obeying God's command to do it, and second you
are now affiliating yourself with Jesus Christ and His sacrifice on the cross for your sins.
You are now affiliating yourself with the body of Christ, with all other true Christians.

You are now going to begin the process of being born again, which is the spirit of God removing all
things contrary to Him that is in you. It is a regeneration from our corrupt self-seeking nature
to one that lives in strict obedience unto the will of God.

Ephesians 4:22-24
"22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness."

Baptism is not some magical moment where God's spirit descends upon you and you begin to hear His literal voice.

Baptism is a token of your obedience unto God. It is a symbol of your coming out of the world
and to God for salvation and atonement of your sins through Jesus Christ.

These things can be confusing at first and understanding comes in time with experience.

All that should matter to each of us is obeying God's commandments.

1 John 2:17
"And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever."

If I could sum up the entire Bible in one verse it would be Ecclesiastes 12:13.
"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his
commandments: for this is the whole duty of man."

So I say to you, don't worry about baptism, or being born again, or if you have the Holy Spirit.
Worry about one thing, reading God's word and learning what His will is, what His commandments are
and do them! If you obey God He will give you His spirit, He will baptize you with the Holy Ghost, He will
give you all blessings, if you simply obey Him.

Acts 5:32
"And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him."
